SURPRISE REFERRAL!!!!!

HERE SHE IS!!!

Little miss Jin XiaYue!! We are in complete awe and amazement and so thankful that the Lord has brought this little one into our lives...(and we haven't even met her yet!!) She was born on July 20, 2005 in the Guangxi Province. She is currently residing at Guiping Social Welfare Institute. We pray that we will be able to travel in the next 2-3 months.

Our adoption coordinator called us on May 22nd and stated that she had been praying for us and thought that we may be interested in a little girl on their new waiting child list. We have been interested in adopting a child with a special need since the beginning of this journey but had not yet found her!! With the increased wait we were all the more ready as our youngest is no longer a baby! (He was one when we began this journey!) Our little XiaYue (name to be announced soon) has a ventricular septal defect, a small hole in her heart. We have discussed her condition with a wonderful pediatric cardiologist and he felt like her condition was very treatable. We feel priviledged that our agency considered us for this child. We were given her file, without pictures, so that we could make a decision without having our heart strings pulled too hard!! As soon as we decided that XiaYue would be part of our family, our agent sent the pictures!! CAN I JUST SAY "LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!" We think she has the sweetest little face!! I think I love her more and more every time I look at her! I have studied her picture for hours!!

So our journey continues and we are sooooo excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family!!
